about

Recorded in 2004, this previously unreleased song addresses judgement, paranoia and groupthink with focus on the events in Salem, MA. 1692. Released 10/29/2013 just in time for Halloween.

lyrics

Once upon a time here in Salem,
were a series of peculiar events.
The daughters of the town all were stricken
with a sickness they say the Devil had sent.

CHORUS:
So dance, Tituba dance,
there's a rhythm in your wicked ways.
and the hounds are howling in Salem.
Someone's going to hang today.

'Round the fire, the girls would gather
and listen to Tituba's tales
of ghosts, spectres and goblins,
but the thing they liked most
were the spells.

CHORUS

And the girls, they started to tremble.
One fell limp on the floor.
By the gavel of old Cotton Mather,
and the damned would live no more.
